Naturelle Self Adhesive Vinyl Flooring Plank is a peel and stick luxury vinyl floor, which offers an easy, mess free installation. This product is an excellent alternative to the more traditional glue down luxury vinyl flooring, as it is aimed at the DIY market, which means it can be laid over most subfloors and is less messy. Simply peel away the protective paper backing from the back of the plank and the self adhesive back will bond directly to the subfloor.

We recommend that you ensure the subfloor is flat, smooth and clean prior to installation, this is to maximise the bond strength and ensure the plank fully adheres to the subfloor. If you have a concrete floor, it is advised the floor has a self levelling compound applied first to create a smooth and flat surface, if your subfloor is chipboard, ensure the type of chipboard is free from any coatings and try the plank direct and check the bond strength, if the chipboard has a coating, then we would recommend using a ply board or hard board overlay first, which would create a better bond between plank and subfloor. A popular installation for self adhesive vinyl planks is over existing vinyl floors or tiled floors with minimal grout, make sure these surfaces are degreased and dried properly before installation.

Self adhesive vinyl flooring is a great way to smarten up your interior for a low cost and for a shorter life expectancy compared to other luxury vinyl floors. If you want more of a permanent and longer lasting LVT floor, we would recommend using a dry back vinyl plank that requires an adhesive applied to the subfloor prior to installation for a more permanent and stronger bond.
